Tatiana Barber

Tatiana Barber is from Los Angeles, California. She began training at a neighborhood studio, when she was about 5 years old, studying ballet, tap, and jazz techniques. Shortly after she became a student at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) until she graduated in 2012. She has worked with a wide variety of instructors such as Debbie Allen, Rasta Thomas, Desmond Richardson, Tessandra Chavez, Karen Mc Donald, Madame Adrienne Dellas, Eartha Robinson, Joanna Berman, Shannon Gillen and the list goes on. Tatiana has done countless outside performances and musical productions with DADA and was also a dancer within Ms Allen’s DADA Ensemble Pre Company, from 2008-2010, where they got the opportunity to perform in the Playboy Jazz Festival for the Herbie Hancock Tribute. Her pre professional work experience began when she was 10 where she danced in two African dance companies directed by Titus Fotso and Kara Mack, in 2007 she performed in a Jerry Lewis Telethon; doing African dance, and in 2011 she performed in “Memoria” with the Alvin Ailey Amercian Dance Theater. She is currently attending Dominican University of California/ Lines BFA program transitioning to her 4 year. She has received a four year Dean’s Scholarship and has been on the Dean’s List 3 times over the duration of her attendance at Dominican University.
