Rachel Furst

Rachel Furst was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Rachel began dancing at the age of 3 and danced competitively until high school. She attended the Baltimore School for the Arts for high school, where she performed leading roles in “The Nutcracker”, “Pas de Quatre”, and various other productions. Rachel has also attended prestigious summer programs, such as The American Academy of Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Currently, Rachel is attending the Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University. Throughout her dance training, she has had the opportunity to perform works by Amy Seiwert, Gregory Dawson, Yannis Adoniou, Kara Davis, and Carmen Rozenstraten. Rachel will be graduating in 2013 with a BFA in Dance, as well as, a minor in Psychology. After graduation, Rachel hopes to dance professionally and help inspire other young dancers to follow their dreams.
