Charbel Rohayem

Charbel Rohayem was born and raised in Richmond, California. He started dancing at the age of 16 with his early training under the direction of Teresa Felix at Hercules High School, and Trina Araby at Broadway Rhythm and Dance Co. in Hercules, California. He has since attended summer programs with the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), Dawson/Wallace Dance Project, The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and BODYTRAFFIC. He is a 2011 Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artist, which he was awarded during his time at CSSSA. Within the past few years he has performed and guested in works commissioned by Robert Moses’ KIN, Dawson/Wallace Dance Project, and Santa Rosa Dance Theatre. He is currently a junior in the Lines Ballet BFA Program with Dominican University as a Presidential Scholar.
